“ Excellent food! They are knowledgeable about gluten free food as well. The service is always great. ”
“ Stopped by during lunch time. Ordered Galbi n Yukgaejang. Galbi was well marinated and the sauce was excellent. Meat was tender and tasty. Loved lettuce wrapping set with miso n garlic. Banchan was great and kimchee was very tasty! Yukgaejang was not very spicy and perfect for my tasting. A lot of ingredients inside and great taste. Highly recommended!! ”
“ I've only been here twice but boy oh boy, both times have been incredible. The first time (unfortunately no photos), I got the bulgogi bbq and it was AMAZING. The second time (tonight) I got japchae with beef and mandu gui which both came with sides of kimchi. It was incredible. So cozy and homey and delicious. This mayyyy be the number one Korean restaurant in all of Buffalo The ambiance inside is rather casual and could be improved but the food is fantastic. ”
“ Korean bbq with four different meats to cook at the table. Everything was delicious. Cool experience to cook and eat these great tasting pork beef and chicken selections. Kimche and other sides were tasty. Only downfall was service was pretty lacking. No follow ups for drinks or water or to check on us until I flagged someone down. Servers were polite and responsive but not around and not proactively checking on tables. That said, I will be back to try their hot pot next ”
“ My granddaughter had Mandu Gui (beef dumplings) which she swears are tastier than the ones she had when she visited South Korea, and she always orders Jap chae with beef. While I, a sworn vegetarian, order Jjin Wang Mandu (vegetable dumplings) and order my favorite tofu presentation, Japche Dolsot, which comes in a stone bowl with sweet potato noodles, vegetables and rice sizzling and crispy on the bottom -- mouth watering. The restaurant has barbecue tables which were well attended and plain tables for those who are eating foods such as we ordered. The atmosphere is plain but comfortable and the service is casual and efficient. It's a fine place to try some good Korean cuisine. Our dishes were not particularly photogenic but that is the nature of this food...it was nonetheless delicious! ”
“ We walked in and were instantly greeted and provided menus to look at (since it's our first time here). You can sit at a regular table and have your food prepared, or sit at the other tables where you cook it yourself. Now, I personally go out to eat to avoid doing ANYTHING so we chose a regular table. For drinks there are coke and Pepsi products in a can. I didn't look at the other beverages to speak more on this. My company enjoyed his chicken teriyaki, I enjoyed my (butterflied) shrimp teriyaki. It comes with rice and some other things on the side if you would like (such as broccoli or kimchi). Also came with soup (more of a broth) that was very good! The environment is more low-key/casual/lack-luster. But the food is good and something different. Everyone that served us was friendly but not over-bearing (doesn't come over to your table constantly, but nearby and at your service anytime needed). If you prefer a fork over chopsticks, just ask, as you are automatically provided chopsticks and a spoon. ”
“ My husband and I were in the Buffalo area and craving Korean food. This place came up in our search, so we went. It's pretty dingy outside and inside, but the food and service is GREAT! They give you plenty of side dishes. Portions are appropriate for the price. I will definitely be back if I'm in the area again. ”
“ Wife and I wanted some Korean food while visiting family in Buffalo and ended up here. Don't let the strip mall location deter you, the food is fantastic! We both ordered bibimbap, which came in a huge bowl with rice in the side. This on its own was awesome, but the banchan that came with it was so good. I'm a sucker for fish cakes and theirs are amazing. There were also beansprouts, broccoli, kimchi, and pickles. We got so much good, authentic food for a great price and left very full. There's also Korean BBQ options, but since my wife is pescatarian we didn't partake. I'm sure it's great, as several parties came in to do that while we were there. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! ”
“ The first time I tried Korean bbq here - I only had a 2-3 star experience . We came with a big group of ladies - 6 of us getting Korean bbq and the other 2 ordered off the menu . I ordered the shrimp to try on the grill . It came not cleaned up at all . Trying to shell the shrimp and put it on the grill while others were cooking was too labor intensive and messy . Also , because there was such a big group of us to share 1 grill (2 would have been ideal ) we all had to wait quite some time to actually eat . I left that evening feeling kind of overwhelmed by the experience, and still hungry . I went again this past weekend with my father . We ordered the combo with short rib , spicy pork , chicken and beef bulgogi . Dad left me in charge of the grilling and ordering (I was sure to order an extra bowl of rice ) . It was the perfect amount of meat and sides , we were able to cook everything easily in a good time frame , and the meat was so flavorful and delicious . I would recommend asking for bigger plates to eat and serve on - those little ones don't hold a proper lettuce wrap at all . But we left dinner fully satisfied . Happy I decided to give Korean bbq a second chance ! ”
